String Poets strives to create a unique and refined atmosphere for you and your guests by gathering professionals and a competent group of artists.

Our Professional string ensemble serves Cedar Brook, NJ. Violinists, Solo Cellists Jazz ensembles and pianists. We are able to serve Maryland, Virginia, and the mid-atlantic region.

String Poets is a group of professional, skilled and trustworthy musicians who are reliable trusted, knowledgeable and experienced. Since our beginnings, we've performed for weddings, exclusive dinners, corporate events and other occasions. Our expertise lets us work with every client to ensure they are happy with our service and the event in general.

Baroque (Vivaldi, Bach, Boccherini) Classical (Mozart Massenet) romantic (Elgar, Faure, Schubert, Brahms ...), French variety (Piaf, Brel), film music, and international music with the international ( Star Wars, Game of Thrones) and Tangos (Piazzolla), Pop, Jazz and Rock. It's 6 hours of entertainment and can be tailored to suit the requirements of our customers. You can make the transcription of string quartets in case you're seeking specific pieces which aren't in the repertoire.

We host more than 150 receptions and celebrations each year. We've learned flexibility, timing, and the art of singing. We're also able to adapt to the numerous wedding ceremonies and demands for songs. Our vast repertoire covers everything from classical and traditional tunes to pop and jazz. If you're not able to locate your favorite song in our collection of music, please contact us with suggestions for how you can include it and we'll work hard to find the perfect song to fit your event.

From the first time I contacted Radhi Santos from String Poets, he was confident and enthusiastic about performing the ceremony and cocktail hour music for our wedding. He listened to what I wanted the atmosphere to be like, and suggested music to create the happy environment I wanted. Radhi was responsive, super professional, and the trio that played at the wedding sounded incredible. When I think back on my wedding day, one of the things I actually remember is the music String Poets was playing. It was nice not having to worry about this part of the wedding; completely worth it!

Wedding Reception

Many thanks to the String Poets for playing at our wedding. The music played a very important part in our wedding, as you know, and you performed the pieces just as I wanted them to be played! At one point I was swaying to the music(I think it was Vocalise) and my husband even noticed me doing it, just in the moment and enjoying everything about the day. I'm sorry I didn't get to meet you in person! I was running a bit late from the hairdresser and I just had to get upstairs and get dressed and be ready in 30 min. Radhi, I cannot thank you and your colleagues enough for the beautiful music at Sarah's wedding. When I had my final review with the owner, Mark Lynch, I urged him to add the String Poets to their list of preferred vendors -- so I hope he does follow through. Wedding ceremony and Cocktail hour

I wanted to follow up with you and let you know how pleased I was with the quartet that played at my garden wedding last weekend in Alexandria. They were all exceptional musicians and our guests really appreciated all of the beautiful music that was played prior, during and after the ceremony. The two songs that they accompanied my brother-in-law on (The Prayer and Exodus) were simply moving and emotional for all. My brother-in-law, who is a professional opera singer and who has sung in many venues around the world, was most impressed with the quartet. Bravo! I spoke briefly with Jose (thought it was you) and told him that I wanted to tip the four of them, but would work through you to do so. Please advise how I would do so. Wedding Ceremony

The String Poets did an amazing job providing all the music for our wedding, from ceremony processional and recessional to cocktail hour to reception! These musicians are amazing, incredibly professional, and their sound is amazing. They also have an incredible repertoire, and had all of the pieces we wanted for our Jewish ceremony. Radhi Santos, the contact for the String Poets, was fantastic to work with- he was always very approachable and dedicated to making sure that we got exactly the lovely string quartet music we wanted. All in all, fantastic!! I highly recommend them.

Mr. Radhi Santos and his quartet provided an out standing performance for our 4th annual awards banquet where we had nearly 200 guests in attendance. His quartet arrived promptly and was ready to perform when our event started. The String Poets added the polish to our event that helped put it over the top. Many guests commented on the quality of their performance and the value that it added to the ambiance of the evening. We will certainly be contacting String Poets for our event next year.

I just wanted to take the time to say thank you. You and your group did an amazing job at our wedding reception. The music was absolutely beautiful and I could not have asked for anything better. Your professionalism was amazing and we got so many compliments on you guys. My only regret is that I did not get the chance to thank you personally after the ceremony. "String Poets are talented and generous. Our memorial service at Wolftrap was a challenge as it included a classical set, a dove release and several secular pieces interspersed within a program. Extraordinary musicians and professionals, the String poets hit every challenging entry, page turn and pause. As a modest singer, I would recommend String Poets to enhance any gig. They make you sound like a star. Their accompaniment to Josh Groban piece ("To Where You Are") was straight from heaven

We had the String Poets play at our Catholic ceremony and their music was beautiful! The whole day was a big blur but I knew that the music was great after all of our guests asked about them and complimented them. Then when we watched our video - we again saw how wonderful they were!
