String Poets strives to create a unique and refined atmosphere for you and your guests by gathering professionals and a competent group of artists.

Our Professional string ensemble serves Fort Ashby, WV. Violinists, Solo Cellists Jazz ensembles and pianists. We are able to serve Maryland, Virginia, and the mid-atlantic region.

String Poets is a group of professional, skilled and trustworthy musicians who are reliable trusted, knowledgeable and experienced. Since our beginnings, we've performed for weddings, exclusive dinners, corporate events and other occasions. Our expertise lets us work with every client to ensure they are happy with our service and the event in general.

Baroque (Vivaldi, Bach, Boccherini) Classical (Mozart Massenet) romantic (Elgar, Faure, Schubert, Brahms ...), French variety (Piaf, Brel), film music, and international music with the international ( Star Wars, Game of Thrones) and Tangos (Piazzolla), Pop, Jazz and Rock. It's 6 hours of entertainment and can be tailored to suit the requirements of our customers. You can make the transcription of string quartets in case you're seeking specific pieces which aren't in the repertoire.

We host more than 150 receptions and celebrations each year. We've learned flexibility, timing, and the art of singing. We're also able to adapt to the numerous wedding ceremonies and demands for songs. Our vast repertoire covers everything from classical and traditional tunes to pop and jazz. If you're not able to locate your favorite song in our collection of music, please contact us with suggestions for how you can include it and we'll work hard to find the perfect song to fit your event.

We had the String Poets play at our Catholic ceremony and their music was beautiful! The whole day was a big blur but I knew that the music was great after all of our guests asked about them and complimented them. Then when we watched our video - we again saw how wonderful they were! I wanted to follow up with you and let you know how pleased I was with the quartet that played at my garden wedding last weekend in Alexandria. They were all exceptional musicians and our guests really appreciated all of the beautiful music that was played prior, during and after the ceremony. The two songs that they accompanied my brother-in-law on (The Prayer and Exodus) were simply moving and emotional for all. My brother-in-law, who is a professional opera singer and who has sung in many venues around the world, was most impressed with the quartet. Bravo! I spoke briefly with Jose (thought it was you) and told him that I wanted to tip the four of them, but would work through you to do so. Please advise how I would do so. "String Poets are talented and generous. Our memorial service at Wolftrap was a challenge as it included a classical set, a dove release and several secular pieces interspersed within a program. Extraordinary musicians and professionals, the String poets hit every challenging entry, page turn and pause. As a modest singer, I would recommend String Poets to enhance any gig. They make you sound like a star. Their accompaniment to Josh Groban piece ("To Where You Are") was straight from heaven

Radhi, I cannot thank you and your colleagues enough for the beautiful music at Sarah's wedding. When I had my final review with the owner, Mark Lynch, I urged him to add the String Poets to their list of preferred vendors -- so I hope he does follow through. Mr. Radhi Santos and his quartet provided an out standing performance for our 4th annual awards banquet where we had nearly 200 guests in attendance. His quartet arrived promptly and was ready to perform when our event started. The String Poets added the polish to our event that helped put it over the top. Many guests commented on the quality of their performance and the value that it added to the ambiance of the evening. We will certainly be contacting String Poets for our event next year.
