String Poets is a group of highly skilled, professional and reliable musicians who are trusted, reliable and knowledgeable. Since the beginning of our existence we've played for events like weddings and corporate events, and for other events. Our expertise allows us to assist each client to ensure that they are satisfied with our service.
Baroque (Vivaldi, Bach, Boccherini) Classical (Mozart Massenet) romantic (Elgar, Faure, Schubert, Brahms ...), French variety (Piaf, Brel), film music and international music that includes the world ( Star Wars, Game of Thrones) and Tangos (Piazzolla), Pop, Jazz and Rock. The program is 6 hours of fun and can be customized to the specific needs of our clients. You can also make transcriptions of string quartets in the event that you're searching for certain pieces that aren't included in the repertoire.
We're also able to adjust to the many wedding ceremonies, and the demands for music. Our huge repertoire spans everything from traditional and classical songs to pop and jazz. Many thanks to the String Poets for playing at our wedding. The music played a very important part in our wedding, as you know, and you performed the pieces just as I wanted them to be played! At one point I was swaying to the music(I think it was Vocalise) and my husband even noticed me doing it, just in the moment and enjoying everything about the day. I'm sorry I didn't get to meet you in person! I was running a bit late from the hairdresser and I just had to get upstairs and get dressed and be ready in 30 min. Radhi, I cannot thank you and your colleagues enough for the beautiful music at Sarah's wedding. When I had my final review with the owner, Mark Lynch, I urged him to add the String Poets to their list of preferred vendors -- so I hope he does follow through. I just wanted to take the time to say thank you. You and your group did an amazing job at our wedding reception. The music was absolutely beautiful and I could not have asked for anything better. Your professionalism was amazing and we got so many compliments on you guys. My only regret is that I did not get the chance to thank you personally after the ceremony. You definitely made our ceremony more special and gave it that romantic touch we were looking for. Again, thank you so much. Mr. Radhi Santos and his quartet provided an out standing performance for our 4th annual awards banquet where we had nearly 200 guests in attendance. His quartet arrived promptly and was ready to perform when our event started. The String Poets added the polish to our event that helped put it over the top. Many guests commented on the quality of their performance and the value that it added to the ambiance of the evening. We will certainly be contacting String Poets for our event next year.
I couldn't have been more pleased. These guys sounded just perfect! They played a non-traditional piece for me as I walked down the aisle - Dvorak's Humoresque No.7 as well as other pieces we selected for the reception. They are finely skilled musicians and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a string trio (they also have a string quartet) for their event.
