String Poets strives to create a unique and refined atmosphere for you and your guests by gathering professionals and a competent group of artists.

Our Professional string ensemble serves Von Ormy, TX. Violinists, Solo Cellists Jazz ensembles and pianists. We are able to serve Maryland, Virginia, and the mid-atlantic region.

String Poets is a group of professional, skilled and trustworthy musicians who are reliable trusted, knowledgeable and experienced. Since our beginnings, we've performed for weddings, exclusive dinners, corporate events and other occasions. Our expertise lets us work with every client to ensure they are happy with our service and the event in general.

Baroque (Vivaldi, Bach, Boccherini) Classical (Mozart Massenet) romantic (Elgar, Faure, Schubert, Brahms ...), French variety (Piaf, Brel), film music, and international music with the international ( Star Wars, Game of Thrones) and Tangos (Piazzolla), Pop, Jazz and Rock. It's 6 hours of entertainment and can be tailored to suit the requirements of our customers. You can make the transcription of string quartets in case you're seeking specific pieces which aren't in the repertoire.

We host more than 150 receptions and celebrations each year. We've learned flexibility, timing, and the art of singing. We're also able to adapt to the numerous wedding ceremonies and demands for songs. Our vast repertoire covers everything from classical and traditional tunes to pop and jazz. If you're not able to locate your favorite song in our collection of music, please contact us with suggestions for how you can include it and we'll work hard to find the perfect song to fit your event.

Thank you all very much for a wonderful performance at our wedding! Your professionalism, timing and etiquette were above reproach. I am just sorry that I wasn't able to enjoy every minute:) As the bride, I was a little busy getting ready and posing for an endless string of photographs. I couldn't have been more pleased. These guys sounded just perfect! They played a non-traditional piece for me as I walked down the aisle - Dvorak's Humoresque No.7 as well as other pieces we selected for the reception. They are finely skilled musicians and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a string trio (they also have a string quartet) for their event.

Hi Radhi, I am writing to let you what an amazing addition you and your string quartet were to the wedding. I only wish I could have been more appreciative on Sunday and that I could have talked with you at length, but alas, I was quite caught up in my wedding. When I first heard you playing I was getting ready in the bridal quarters and, while I am proud to say that I did not cry at all during my wedding, I almost became a faucet when I first heard you play! It was so beautiful! When I heard you play the very first notes, it was like my wedding was starting at that very moment and the whole day was brought to life. It was at that moment that it all began, as all my bridesmaids and flower girls prepared for the processional and scampered around the room to the lovely music that you played. All of my guests have repeated the sentiments to me that you added a beautiful touch to the event. I will recommend you for future weddings or any lovely event where your playing would be appropriate. You are a very talented man for having put together such an amazing group, but even more importantly, you espouse a love and happiness that transcends your music. The extra effort that you made to specialize the songs was more than many others would have done for me! I just wanted to take the time to say thank you. You and your group did an amazing job at our wedding reception. The music was absolutely beautiful and I could not have asked for anything better. Your professionalism was amazing and we got so many compliments on you guys. My only regret is that I did not get the chance to thank you personally after the ceremony.
